Filmed at Coney Island (Brooklyn, NY) and Grossinger's Resort (Liberty, NY), Dolphin Hotel searches for the meaning in movement in different settings, and the influence of text placed on two individuals not normally surrounded by those environments. With silent film and early 1990's aesthetics, the film digs into the idea of a narrative within abstract bodies and places by using text from select novels by Japanese author, Haruki Murakami.
